The 70th week fixed on Israel

The book of Daniel teaches us that seventy weeks of years were fixed on Israel before the Lord brought his everlasting righteousness to the earth, that is to say before the day when the Lord Jesus Christ returns to earth for to deliver Israel, to end the reign of the antichrist and to reign for a thousand years. This book teaches us that since the word announced that Jerusalem would be rebuilt untilthe first coming of Jesus Christ was seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. seven weeks of years (forty-nine years) in which Jerusalem was rebuilt, and sixty-two weeks (four hundred and thirty-four years). By researching and calculating we can find evidence that from the time the restoration of Jerusalem was heralded until Messiah this number of years ago.

“The word went out from the beginning of your supplications, and I have come to declare it to you, for you are a beloved. Be heedful of the word, and understand the vision. Seventy weeks are fixed on your people and over thy holy city, to abolish transgression and to put an end to sins, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring about eternal righteousness, to seal the vision and the prophecy and to anoint the Holy of Holies You will therefore know and understand that from the time when the word proclaimed that Jerusalem will be rebuilt until Messiah the Leader, seven weeks and sixty-two weeks ago; and the places and the breaches will be rebuilt, but in times of anguish. " (Daniel 9: 23-26)

I will speak specifically of the seventieth week. We know that when Jesus died sixty-nine weeks of fixed years on Israel were fulfilled, since it is written:

"And after these sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off, but not for him. The chief people who come will destroy the city and the sanctuary, and his end will come as by a flood; it is determined that the devastation will last until 'At the end of the war." (Daniel 9:26)

"but not for him" can also be translated as "and he will have nothing". Which means that at the time of his death the time for him to reign had not yet come. The Word then announces to us that the people of the chief who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary (Jerusalem and the temple). We know that the Romans destroyed Jerusalem and the temple around 40 years after the death of Jesus, only it does not say that their leader would be with them, but simply that the PEOPLE of the leader who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. When we speak of the leader here it is about the antichrist who is to come and who will therefore be the leader of the Roman Empire. This is the reason why it is written in Revelation 13 that the antichrist who is the first beast will be from THE SEA (of the nations), and more particularly from Europe (Roman Empire), while the second beast ( the false prophet) who will be in alliance with the first will come from the land and therefore from Israel (Jew). So there is no confusion in the book of Daniel.

When the Messiah died and the sixty-nine weeks were completed, the time appointed for Israel was stopped to make way for the time of the Church. The last week which is the seventieth has been set aside until the time of the Church is over. Many passages confirm this to us as the passage where Paul tells us that all those who come from the nations (Church) must have returned (into the Kingdom) before Israel is saved:

"For, my brethren, I do not want you to ignore this mystery, so that you do not regard yourselves as wise, part of Israel has fallen into hardness, until all the Gentiles have entered. And so all Israel shall be saved, as it is written, The Deliverer shall come from Zion, and turn away faithlessness from Jacob: and this is the covenant which I will make with them, when I take away their sins. are enemies of the gospel, for your sake, but as far as election is concerned, they are loved because of their fathers: for the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. you yourselves once rebellious to God, and now have obtained mercy by their rebellion, so they have now become rebellious, that they may also obtain mercy, by the mercy shown to you. " (Romans 11: 25-31)

Or the passage where Paul teaches us that something prevents the antichrist from being revealed and this something is obviously the Body of Christ, that is to say the Church:

"And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed in his due time. For the mystery of iniquity is already operating, only he who is holding him back now will do so until he is out of the way. the way. And then will be revealed the ungodly, whom the Lord will destroy with the breath of his mouth, and which he will annihilate with the brightness of his coming. " (2 Thessalonians 2: 6-8)

We understand better why the marriage of the Lamb (the rapture) takes place before the return of Jesus Christ in Revelation 19. And we understand better why Jesus speaking to the Jews tells them to be like servants waiting for their Master to return. WEDDING:

"Let your loins be girded, and your lamps alight. And be like servants who wait for their master to return from the wedding feast, so that as soon as he knocks, you may open the door for him." (Luke 12: 35-36)

In fact, the time of the Church must be fulfilled for the time fixed on Israel to resume. This last week which is the seventieth fixed on Israel can begin when the Church is raptured, and as it is said in Daniel 9, at the end of this last week the Lord will come to bring his eternal righteousness on the earth. When the marriage feast of the Lamb begins in heaven, the seventieth week will begin on earth. We know that the Jewish nuptials lasted seven days and that is what this last week represents. As this week is a week of a year, the marriage feast of the Lamb will last seven years just like the seventieth week fixed on Israel. It is during this time that the antichrist will make a covenant with many including Israel, and in the middle of this week he will proclaim himself God and ask to be worshiped, which is what makes a remnant of Israel will refuse to worship the antichrist and then there will be a great tribulation such as has never been since the beginning which will last three and a half years, and Israel will turn to Jesus Christ for to be saved.

Some biblical passages

"And he will confirm the covenant with many for a week, and in the middle of this week he will cease the sacrifice and the offering. Then on the wing of abominations there will be the one who causes desolation until that time. may decreed annihilation befall the author of this desolation. " (Daniel 9:27)

"Let no one therefore deceive you in any way; for the apostasy must have happened before, and the man of sin, the son of perdition, be revealed, who opposes and stands up against all that. who is called God or whom we worship, he goes so far as to sit like God in the temple of God proclaiming himself to be God. " (2 Thessalonians 2: 3-4)

"Now when you see the abomination which will cause desolation, which was foretold by Daniel the prophet, to be established in the holy place, let him that reads be careful! Then let them that are in Judea flee to the mountains; and let not him that is on the roof come down to take away anything from his house; let not him that is in the field turn back to take his clothes. Woe to pregnant women, and to those who nurse in these places. Pray that your flight will not come in winter, nor on a Sabbath day: for then there will be great tribulation, such as was not from the beginning of the world until present, and never will be. " (Matthew 24: 15-21)

"And it will come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel and the survivors of the house of Jacob will no longer lean on him who smitten them, but will lean with confidence on Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel. The remnant will be converted, the remnant, I say, of Jacob will be converted to the mighty God. For when thy people, O Israel, be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant will be converted; destruction is resolved, it will do righteousness is overflowing: for the destruction which he has resolved the Lord, Yahweh of hosts, will execute in the midst of all the earth. " (Isaiah 10: 20-23)

"Then I saw the sky open, and behold a white horse appeared. And the one that was mounted on it is called TRUE and TRUE, and he judges and fights with righteousness. And his eyes were like a flame of fire; there was on His head was several diadems, and he had a name written down which no one knows except himself. He was clothed in a garment dyed with blood, and his Name is called THE WORD OF GOD. are in heaven followed him on white horses, clothed with fine pure white linen: out of his mouth went a sharp sword, to strike down the nations; he will rule them with an iron scepter, and he will tread the winepress of the sea. indignation and anger of Almighty God. And on his garment and on his thigh were written these words: THE KING OF KINGS AND THE LORD OF LORDS. Then I saw an angel standing in the sun. He cried out. 'a loud voice, and said to all the birds that flew in the midst of the sky: Come and assemble yourselves for the great feast of Di had, to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of commanders, the flesh of the mighty, the flesh of horses and those who ride them, and the flesh of all kinds of free people, slaves, great and small. Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered together to make war against him that rode on the horse and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with it the false prophet, who had done wonders before it, by which he had led astray those who had taken the mark of the beast, and worshiped his image. And they were both cast alive into the lake of fire and brimstone. And the rest were slain with the sword which proceeded out of the mouth of him that rode on the horse, and all the birds were satisfied with their flesh. "(Revelation 19: 11-21)
