Return to God before it is too late

I urge all those who have strayed from sanctification, from the presence of God, to return before it is too late. If you have the Holy Spirit and you have wandered away from God, you must still feel His call to return to Him. 

When we live by the Spirit, in true sanctification, we grow the Spirit in us, with the goal that he will eventually take over and our old man will be totally dead. But conversely, if we live by the flesh, we feed our old man and make him grow, and the Spirit of God diminishes in us.

By walking by the flesh and feeding our old man, the Spirit will eventually disappear completely, withdraw, and it will be too late for us. We will become totally powerless and we will not be able to hear the call to return to God. That is why I urge you wholeheartedly to return to the Lord fully, before it is too late for you, for it would have been better for you not to have received the Holy Spirit, than to turn away from His call forever.

Today, if you still hear this call, it is not yet too late for you, so if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts. And above all, do not think you are all-powerful, do not say to yourselves: I still have time/I will come back later... For pride goes before destruction, and the Lord will come upon you like a thief, when you do not expect it; he will take away your candlestick (the Spirit), and you will be in darkness forever.

Do not take God's grace in vain and respond to his call.
