Thinking about lust excites lust

It is good to denounce sin, but the most important thing is to give the solution to get out of it, and that's what Paul will do after denouncing the sin. In chapters 6, 7 and 8 of the letter to the Romans, Paul will denounce sin, explain to us how the law of the Spirit and the law of sin work, to finally give us the solution as I explained in the teaching which is entitled: "How to walk in the Spirit?"

In Romans 7, Paul teaches us that sin deceives us by means of the commandment. And indeed, the devil deceives us into our destruction, accusing us in our minds and before God constantly because of our sins. Because the command of God which is his Law in you, which you received by faith, condemns sin, then the Enemy uses this same Law to constantly accuse us in our mind without ever giving us a solution to get out. of sin. But on the other hand, for those who believe and who want to follow the Lord, it is written in chapter 8 that we have an advocate with the Father who intercedes for us because he has a solution for us. Hallelujah!

"As for me, being once lawless, I lived, but when the commandment came sin came to life, and I died. So the commandment that leads to life was found to me to lead to death. sin seizing the opportunity, deceived me by means of the commandment, and killed me by its means. " (Romans 7: 9-11)

The real problem is, as long as we think about lust, we excite lust, and the devil is using God's Law to make us think about lust. If you keep thinking about the fact that you must not smoke (for example), and focus on it, you arouse lust, and you will not be delivered. But if you let the lawyer play his role (and he does it because he has a solution to get us out of there), and you focus your thoughts on things of the Kingdom of God, without letting yourself be accused by the Enemy of our souls, then God will deliver you.

The purpose of the Enemy is to prevent us from walking in the Spirit, and remaining carnal, and by using the Law of God which is in us, he destroys the patience and the Goodness of God, condemning us in the spirit, in order to make us feel guilty and that for lack of knowledge we walk according to the flesh to arrive at our destruction. There are stages in walking in the Spirit, before conversion you sin and love what you do most of the time; when the Law of Christ comes into you, you sin and do not like what you do, because you discover that there are two laws within you, the Law of Christ (in your mind), and the law of sin (in your flesh). If you start to walk in the Spirit, you can continue to sin but you will not think about it anymore (I am speaking of the lust of the flesh), and by dint of perseverance in the walk by the Spirit, and very quickly, you will find deliverance.
