Let's fight the good fight of faith

Walking in the Spirit and serving the Word of God (the good fight of faith) requires total enrollment for war:

"You therefore suffer with me like a good soldier of Jesus Christ. There is no soldier who bothered with the affairs of this life if he wanted to please the one who recruited him for the war." (Timothy 2: 3-4)

So if you want to live, walk and fight in the Spirit, you must not be bothered with the affairs of this world, and you must have total trust in God in all that concerns this world, so that you can fix your gaze. on him, to live by the Spirit by thinking, by looking, on things above, on the things of the Kingdom of God:

"For those who are according to the flesh think of the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit of the things of the Spirit. Now the thoughts and purposes of the flesh are death, but the thoughts and the purposes of the Spirit are life and peace; because the thoughts and purposes of the flesh are enmity against God, because they do not submit to the law of God and do not 'are not even capable of it. And those who are in the flesh cannot please God. " (Romans 8: 5-8)

It is also written: Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all things will be given to you on top (in addition) (Matthew 6:33).

We will have nothing to gain by living according to the flesh except corruption as taught by the Word of God. If we sow by the flesh we will reap corruption from the flesh and the wages of sin is death (eternal sufferings), but if we sow by the Spirit we will reap eternal life from the Spirit:

"So then, my brethren, we are debtors, but not to the flesh, to have to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body you will live, for all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. " (Romans 8: 12-14)

"Do not go astray: God is not mocked. What a human being sows he will also reap. Therefore he who sows for his flesh will reap corruption of the flesh, but he who sows for the Spirit will reap everlasting life from the Spirit. " (Galatians 6: 7-8)
