Sanctification

Sanctification is the fruit of consecration. By our consecration to the Lord we are sanctified by him and that in several ways. The Word of God is the Water which sanctifies us, which cleanses us internally, and it is indispensable for our salvation; separation from the people of the world, the things of the world ...; suffering is also essential. You have to suffer to be able to pass from one nature to another.

Imagine that this desert of sanctification is like a pregnancy. The child is alone in the womb, connected with a cord to his mother and his food to live can only come from her, being in the dark, not discerning the noises he hears, and the more he grows in the stomach, the more he can sense the people talking to him, the more he is in a hurry to finally be able to see their faces. For us it's the same thing, God speaks to us, guides us, and the more we grow the more we feel and discern him and the more we want to see his face, to be truly born of God in order to contemplate his glory with our face uncovered. , but to be born one must first die. No one can be a new man until they have totally crucified the old man in them.

This path of sanctification, which can be long, has only one goal, which is to lead us to the total renunciation of ourselves and to charity. The hardness of this path depends on each of us, the more corrupt we are the more difficult it is, the more we resist the more difficult it is, the more egocentric or selfish we are the more difficult it is, the more we eat bad food (films, world music, false teachings...) the dirtier we are and it will be longer and more difficult to let ourselves be sanctified by the Spirit of God ...
