Let us no longer be hypocrites and quickly obey the Lord

Why do we continue to pretend to be followers of Christ when we do not obey His will? Why are we so hypocritical, pretending to love God and rejecting His will when He speaks to us through His Spirit? Do we really have so little faith and love? Why do we pretend to love God when we do not obey him? When the scriptures tell us that it is by our obedience to His will that we prove our Love for Him; and that it is by surrendering our lives to the Lord that we prove our Love for our families and for the Church.

We often find excuses not to put God's will into practice, simply because we lack faith and we do not have enough Love for God and for others. Let us stop this hypocrisy and be true disciples. When the first disciples received the call of the Lord, they did not take years to abandon everything to follow him, but they did it directly, without flinching. 

Today people think they have time; when they receive a conviction from God, they do not put it into practice directly, nor quickly, but they drag on, and become forgetful listeners; they lose the strong conviction they had received. Then, some time later, they ask the Lord for another conviction; and the Lord gives it to them; but they act in exactly the same way, and remain forgetful hearers; and so on, until one day it is too late for them.

By doing this, these people are building their house on the sand, and when the storm comes, it will crumble, and its ruin will be great. The only way to build our house on the Rock is to put God's will into practice when we receive the conviction of what we should do. And this conviction can fly away quickly, it is enough to suffocate it by the worries of this world; to suffocate it by worries, fears; to reason by the flesh after having received it and to end up doubting the will of God...

What do we really want? Do we really want to follow Jesus and save our homes? Do we really want to be part of Christ's church and serve him? Or are we just pretending? It is not right to drag things out like this, many of us should have been masters for a long time, so we really need to redeem the time and change. Let's stop wasting all this time unnecessarily, because we will regret it, believe me. There is no need to wait weeks, or months, or even years, as some do, before putting into practice the will of God which we have received by revelation.

The only way to keep the conviction we receive is to put it into practice without delay. Let us no longer be deceived by the lies and wiles of the devil; and let us not only listen to the Word which God reveals to us and which creates in us the conviction of His will, but let us put it into practice quickly, so as not to lose it. Faith without works is dead, it is useless, so if you receive the revelation of God's will and you do not put it into practice directly by faith, then your faith is vain and you will quickly lose that conviction which produces what some call: the click, which is necessary to put into practice the revealed Word of God (the revelation received).
