Walking in the Spirit Requires Total Consecration

If we have received the Spirit of God, then we have received the Law of Christ into our minds. If so, then we now have two laws within us: the Law of Christ, which is the Law of the Spirit, and the law of sin.

Paul teaches us by the Holy Spirit (Romans 7 and 8), that if we live according to the Spirit, we are automatically subject to the Law of the Spirit, and therefore the Law of the Spirit frees us from sin. . But if we live according to the flesh, we are automatically subject to the law of sin which fights in our members, and therefore it is impossible for us to be subject to the Law of Christ, and we cannot please God.

If we have received the Spirit and walk according to the flesh, we are unable to do the good that we would like in our minds, and therefore we suffer from not being able to do the will of God that we would like to do. . But if we walk in the Spirit, we put to death the actions of the body, and we do not fulfill the desires of the flesh.

Now if we walk according to the flesh we will die, for the wages of sin is death, but if we walk in the Spirit we will inherit eternal life.

To walk in the Spirit we must absolutely look constantly at things above, and not at things of the earth; we must set our hearts on the things of the Kingdom of God and not on the things of the world, and we must walk by faith in our God who can provide in all things and deliver us from all situations; and not to worry, for worries are the fruit of the flesh and are opposed to true faith.

Walking in the Spirit therefore requires total dedication, for it must be practiced at all times, and not only in certain circumstances, this is how God will sanctify us, body, soul and spirit, until we complete our sanctification completely and be made like Christ the man.

"For the eyes of Yahweh go through all the earth, to sustain those whose hearts are all his." (2 Chronicles 16: 9)
