Epistles of Ignatius of Antioch

The letters of Ignatius are in line with the Doctrine taught in the Bible, that is why I share them. Although many things are very spiritual and difficult to understand, we can easily see that Ignatius, like the apostles of the Bible, tells us about the two laws of salvation which are faith and charity (Divine Love), as well as about the unity of true believers in Jesus Christ who dedicate their lives to the Lord; all the while testifying to Jesus Christ as the Lord God Almighty who came in the flesh, was crucified and resurrected for the salvation of all those who believe in Him and practice His ordinances. Ignatius also tells us of his ardent desire to become a true Christian, not only in name but in fact, through the crucifixion of his flesh (his old inner man) and through the new birth. For the same subject he speaks both of becoming a true Christian, or of becoming a disciple, or of becoming complete (perfect), or of reaching God.

Although religious people and especially Catholics have twisted the meaning of Ignatius' writings, we can by a sincere and constant search for the Truth and with the help of God's Spirit (his grace), as well as the biblical scriptures, understand the spiritual meaning of the message that the Lord transmits through his servant Ignatius.
