Jesus is the One and Only Almighty God 

The scriptures and the Holy Spirit teach us that Jesus is Yahweh, the One and Only Lord God Almighty; that there was no God before Him, and there will be none after Him.

There are many biblical passages on this subject, and so much to say that if we were to say them all we would not finish, so I will just take a few passages, and share some important points. 

The first thing we must understand is that there is only one God, and that is Yahweh (YHWH), translated as the Eternal One. Yahweh is the One and Only God of the Bible:

2 Samuel 7:22 Great art thou therefore, O LORD God; for there is none like unto thee, neither is there any God besides thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

Isaiah 45:5 I am the LORD (Yahweh), and there is none else; there is no other God besides me. I girded you when you didn`t know me.

Deuteronomy 32:39 See now that it is I myself, and there is no other God besides me. I kill and I make alive, I wound and I heal, and there is none who can deliver from my hand. 40 For I lift up my hand to the heavens, and say, `I live forever!

The One and Only God is therefore Yahweh (the Father), there is no God apart from him: the Creator, the Father Almighty. We must also understand that there is only One Lord:

Ephesians 4:5 [There is] one Lord, one faith, one Baptism; 6 One God and Father of all, who is over all, among all, and in you all.

And that the Lord and the Almighty God are not two separate persons, but the same person:

Daniel 9:3 And I set my face toward the Lord God, to make supplication and supplication to him, with fasting, and taking sackcloth and ashes. 4 Then I prayed to the Lord my God, and made my confession to him, and said, Ah Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps the covenant and mercy of those who love you and keep your commandments!

Revelation 4:8 And the four beasts had each one six wings, and within and without they were full of eyes; and they kept saying day and night, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, WHO WAS, WHO IS, AND WHO WILL BE!

Revelation 19:6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of great thunderings, saying, Hallelujah; for the Lord God Almighty reigneth.

Revelation 22:6 And he said unto me, These words are sure and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets hath sent his angel to declare unto his servants the things which must shortly come to pass.

There is therefore but one God and Father Almighty, and one Lord, who are the same person; and the scriptures and the Holy Ghost teach us that it is Jesus:

Revelation 22:16 I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you of these things in the churches. 

John 20:28 Thomas answered and said to him, "My Lord and my God! 29. Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen me, Thomas, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, but have believed.

Revelation 1:8 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, says the Lord, the ONE WHO IS, and WHO WAS, and WHO WILL BE, the Almighty.

The Lord Jesus tells us that He is the Aleph and the Tav, which has been translated as the Alpha and the Omega. This revelation means many things, but I will focus on the subject I am sharing. In saying this, Jesus reveals to us that he is the Only God; the fact that he is the Aleph means that there was no other God before him; and the fact that he is the Tav means that there will be none after him. 

The Lord says that he is the beginning and the end of all things; that he is the First and the Last, that apart from him there is no God, that before him there was none, and that after him there will be none; he is the one who IS, who WAS, and who WILL BE, THE ALMIGHTY :

Revelation 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.

Therefore he (Yahweh/Jesus) says himself in the writings of the old covenant:

Isaiah 44:6 Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: I am the first and I am the last, and there is no God but me.

Isaiah 43:10 You are my witnesses, says The LORD, you and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me, and understand that it is I. There has been no God formed before me, nor will there be after me. 11 I, even I, am the LORD, and there is no Saviour but me.

Yahweh affirms throughout the scriptures that he is the Only God, but also the Only Saviour, which is why he himself came in the flesh to save his people:

Isaiah 35:3 Strengthen the hands that are feeble; make the knees strong that are shaky! 4 Say to those whose hearts are troubled, "Take heart and do not fear; this is your God. Vengeance will come, the recompense of God. He himself will come and deliver you. 5 Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped. 6 Then the lame will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute will sing for joy. For waters will gush out in the wilderness, and streams in the desert.

Isaiah 45:21 Declare it, and bring them in, and let them consult together. Who has spoken these things from the beginning, and declared them from of old? Was it not I, The LORD? There is no God but me. There is no just and saving God but me. 22 Look to me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth. For I am God, and there is no other.

Hosea 13:3 But I am the LORD your God from the land of Egypt, and you know no god but me. 4 There is no saviour but me.

Philippians 3:20 For we are citizens of heaven, from whence we also await the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Titus 2:13 Waiting for the blessed hope and the manifestation of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ,14 who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all unrighteousness and purify us, and that he might make himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

2 Peter 1:1 Simeon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have shared in the faith of the same price as ours, in the righteousness of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 1:11 And so you will be fully admitted into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 3:2 That ye may remember the things which were spoken by the holy prophets, and the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Saviour.

Yahweh Himself has fulfilled all the roles necessary for the salvation of human beings, so that all the Glory might be His alone, which is why He Himself came, in order to give the Glory to Himself, because, as He had said over and over again, He will not give His Glory to another:

Isaiah 42:8 I am the LORD; this is my name; I will not give my glory to another, nor my praise to idols.

Isaiah 48:11 For my sake, for my own sake I do it: for how shall my name be profaned? I will not give my glory to another. 12 Hear me, O Jacob, Israel, whom I have called: I am the first, and I am also the last. 13 . My hand also has founded the earth, and my right hand has stretched out the heavens.

Let all the glory, then, go to the One who is worthy to receive it:

2 Peter 3:18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory, both now and for ever. Amen.

Philippians 4:20 Now to God our Father be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Revelation 4:8 And the four beasts had six wings each, and within and without they were full of eyes; and they kept saying day and night, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, WHO WAS, WHO IS, AND WHO WILL BE! 9 When the animals gave glory and honour and grace to him who sat on the throne, to him who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fell down before him who sat on the throne, and worshipped him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, 11 "Lord, you are worthy to receive glory and honour and power; for you created all things, and by your will they exist and were created.

However, in spite of all these passages of the scriptures, this is a great mystery, a hidden thing, which no one can understand by his own understanding; therefore, if you reason behind the letter (scriptures), you will never be able to understand this mystery, but only by meditating in the presence of God will the Lord give you revelation. If you seek to understand the scriptures by your own understanding, by the flesh, you will never be able to understand the meaning, because the letter, without prior revelation, leads to human reasoning; this is the reason why most people twist the meaning of the scriptures, because they interpret the scriptures according to the flesh, and not according to the Spirit.

If you receive a revelation from God, by His Spirit, then do not make the mistake of reasoning behind the scriptures; otherwise the devil can easily steal what you have received; but guard it carefully. 

We must seek the mysteries of the Kingdom of God where they are found, that is, in God, for it is in Him (Jesus) that all mysteries are hidden; therefore it is His flesh (His revealed Word/revelations) that we must eat; His Living Word which is Spirit; for faith comes from what we hear (from what we hear from God in our spirit/revelations from the Holy Spirit) and not from the letter we read. This is why it is also written:

1 Corinthians 12:3 ...no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.

The scriptures do not directly reveal that Jesus is Yahweh, simply because God wanted us to seek Him with all our heart and by groping; that is why He says that it is he who seeks who finds (Matthew 7:8), and again :

Acts 17: 24 The God who made the world and all things in it, being the Lord of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands; 25 Nor is he served by the hands of men, [as] if he had need of anything, seeing that he is the giver of life and breath and all things to all; 26 And he made all mankind of one blood, to dwell in all the earth, having determined the seasons which he made, and the limits of their habitation: 27 That they might seek the Lord, to see if they could in any way touch him by groping, and find him. 

Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me; after that ye have sought me with all your heart.
