The purpose of our faith

The goal of our faith is that we become like Jesus Christ man (Son of God), for he is the Example to follow, he is the Way that leads to eternal life. He came not only to show us the Example of a true child of God and to teach us how we can become one, but also so that through his sacrifice (his suffering / his death / his life) we may obtain through faith the power to become it.

We do not put new wine (new birth) in old wineskins but in new wineskins, so it is necessary that by faith and sanctification we become vessels of honor, sanctified, useful to the Lord and prepared for any good work. in order to be able to be born again and become like Jesus Christ man (child of God).

Revelation 21: 7 He who overcomes will inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he will be my son.

The beginning of the Path is faith, and the goal (the end) of our faith is charity (Divine Love). God is charity, and to become like Christ is to become charity, and we know that charity is the fulfillment of the Law of Christ. But charity is not carnal feelings, for there is no true Love (charity) without renunciation.

From the start of our walk, we must begin to perfect ourselves in charity until it is fully accomplished in us. This charity is God in us who must finally fill us completely, it is his Spirit who must take all the place in us, it is his Blood which purifies us from all iniquity by taking the place of the smallest darkness hidden in we.

For Christ (charity / the Spirit of God / the Blood of Christ ...) to grow in us we must nourish him, and to do so we must live by the Spirit by constantly meditating on the Word of God and living a life. of consecration and prayer (supplications / intercessions / thanksgiving) while seeking in our mind to understand the things of the Kingdom of God. And the food which makes God grow (charity ...) in us are the revelations which concern the precise and correct knowledge of Christ, which we receive from God and which increase as we advance in our search. and our sanctification. This is the flesh of Christ (the revelations / the revealed Word) that we are to eat, the flesh of the Lamb of God, or the true Bread from heaven.

John 6:51 I am the quickening bread which came down from heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. 52 The Jews therefore disputed among themselves, and said, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? 53 And Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you will not have life in yourselves. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent me, and I live through the Father; so whoever eats me will also live through me. 58 This is the bread which came down from heaven, not as your fathers ate manna, and died; whoever eats this bread will live forever.

If we feed our flesh (our old man) with all kinds of the things of the world it grows and the Spirit of God decreases in us, but if we feed the Spirit of God it grows in us and our flesh decreases, and this is so we must persevere until Christ is formed in us and we are filled with the fullness of God so that we can finally be instruments of the Glory of God and work by His Power for the salvation of souls. , which is one of the goals of our sanctification with that of our own salvation of course (note that in this terrible fight, on this narrow Path, our own salvation is not a sufficient motivation to go to the end ; in other words: only Love for souls can give us the strength to reach the goal).

Ephesians 3:14 Because of this I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ; 15 (Of which all kindred are named in heaven and on earth.) 16 So that according to the riches of his glory he may give you to be mighty strengthened by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 So much so that Christ dwells in your hearts by faith: 18 So that being rooted and founded in love, you may understand with all the saints, what is the breadth and the length, the depth and the height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which is beyond all knowledge; so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to him who by the power that works in us effectively, can do infinitely more than all that we ask and think, 21 To him be glory in the Church, in Christ Jesus, in all the ages of the century of centuries, Amen!

There is therefore a very straight Path with very precise stages and a goal to reach, because God is a God of order, and his Gospel is not twisted, nor mixed, nor confused, but it is perfect. And to finish with charity, it consists in renouncing our own life and shedding ourselves in the presence of God out of Love for souls and in particular for his Church (which will be rising soon).

It is not just about shedding sin and the desires of the flesh, but it is about doing it out of Love for souls with awareness and making new efforts and progress every day so that you can finally be entirely delivered to the Lord so that he can inhabit us fully and that we are completely led by him (that we are like the wind).

When we have reached the goal by faith and perseverance, and by the grace of God, then we will be filled with the Power of God and we will lay our hands on the sick, and the sick will be healed ... for the Power of God will act in us as she acted in the days of the early Church. So it's obvious that the devil will do anything to keep us from believing first, and to keep us from getting there if we still believe after a few trials.

1 Corinthians 11: 1 Be my imitators, as I [am] myself of Christ.

1 John 2: 6 Whoever says he abides in him must live as Jesus Christ himself lived.

John 13:15 For I have set an example for you, so that as I have done to you, so may you. 16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That the servant is not greater than his master, nor the ambassador greater than he who sent him. 17 If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.

1 John 3:16 To this we have known love, that he laid down his life for us; so we must also lay out our lives for our brothers.

Luke 6:40 A disciple is not above his master; but every accomplished disciple will be made conformable to his master.

Ephesians 5: 1 Be ye therefore imitators of God, as [his] dear children; 2 And walk in love, as Christ also loved us, and gave himself for us as an oblation and sacrifice to God, as an odor of sweet smell.

John 15:12 This is my commandment, that you love one another, as I have loved you. 13 No one has a greater love than this, [knowing], when one lays down his life for his friends.
